    Paragon is seeking a highly motivated, ambitious, and experienced Production Manager to join our team. The Production Manager is responsible for planning, scheduling, releasing and tracking all workflow from sales order to invoice.

    Responsibilities

    • Responsible for creating a production schedule for the I&C Business using the best combination of computer applications such as MS Project, DAX, Excel, etc.
    • Develop a high degree of understanding of the product/service process flows and provide input to the procurement and/or development of scheduling tools required to meet business needs
    • Required to track and report on the current status of all work in process
    • Partner with Engineering and the Lab to plan and schedule future work based on resource load
    • Support Finance and Management in providing weekly and monthly forecasts, cost to completion estimates, and other financial metrics as required
    • Monitor, analyze, and report performance to schedule of production activities and notify management when there is a deviation to the plan
    • Coordinate with Management, Engineering, Lab, and Sales to sequence and schedule future orders
    • Research and assign due dates based on customer needs, resources required, materials on hand, etc.
    • Provide continual improvement of the planning and reporting processes
    • Use metrics to adjust estimates based on current and historical data
    • Participate as needed in all project milestone meetings
    • Provide periodic customer communications on job status and scheduling
    • Provide continual improvement in the customer experience
    • Drive production to ensure commitment dates are met

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management or Electrical Engineering is required
    • Must have 3 – 5 years of management experience in planning/scheduling in a production environment
    • Possess strong project management and communication skills
    • Experience working with a Quality program in a regulated industry is a plus
    • Proficient in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, MS Project)
    • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics a plus
    • Customer Experience training a plus
